I have been experiencing fever for the past 4 days, with temperatures ranging from 99F to 102F. I do not have any other major symptoms, just the fever. I am sharing my lab report for your review.

Persistent fever may indicate infection. A review of your report is needed to check for specific signs (like WBC count, malaria, dengue). If the fever continues, further tests are needed.

Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a DENGUE PROFILE (IGG & IGM ANTIBODY & NS1 ANTIGEN) Test

View allHi, I am 5 months pregnant with my first baby. In my recent blood test, my platelet count has risen to 700,000, and my WBC is 11,200, which seems high. My doctor has advised me to do PT, APTT, INR, and Hb electrophoresis and to consult a hematologist. This is the first time my platelet count has been elevated, my last report was completely normal. Could this change be related to pregnancy? I am unsure how to proceed and would like guidance, as all my other reports are normal.

Dear doctor, if typhoid is positive in the lab report, is hospital admission required, or can I take antibiotic injections in the morning and evening on a day care basis like a general OP patient? Please advise. If admission and IV fluids are required, how many days will it take to cure?
