I have been experiencing pain on both sides of my abdomen, near the kidneys and ribcage. My physician advised an ultrasound, and the report indicates a left renal calculus and bilateral renal pelvis dilation, suggesting UTI or cystitis. Other organs like kidney, liver, and bladder appear normal. What should be my next step? Should I consult a kidney specialist or continue with a general physician?

Suggests kidney stone with possible infection. You should consult a urologist. Drinking fluids, pain relief, and antibiotics may be needed.
