I have been experiencing throat problems for the last three months. I have taken medications, but I am still facing issues while eating. I would like to get some tests done to understand the cause. Could you please suggest which tests I should undergo for throat problems?

For a throat problem thats lasted 3 months and causes trouble while eating, the best first step is a throat endoscopy by an ENT doctor. This will help check for inflammation, reflux, or other issues. Thyroid and vitamin B12 levels can also be checked if symptoms persist.

View allHi doctor, tomorrow my hysterectomy is scheduled and in the pre operative blood test report thyroid has been detected. The doctor advised me to take Thyroxin 50 before coming to the hospital tomorrow. I also take Olmighty 20 mcg daily for hypertension. Could you please suggest if it is a normal procedure to take the thyroid medicine? I am too stressed about it. Any help would be appreciable. Thank you.

Hi, my recent report shows that my TSH level is 0.32. I am taking Thyronorm 75 mcg daily in the morning, but my thyroid level is still low, and my weight continues to decrease. Could you please advise on what should be done next? Thank you.
