I have been having pain in my hand and fingers for the last two or three months. My doctor advised me to check R A factor and uric acid. My blood report shows R A factor 80 and uric acid 10. Please guide me on what to do. Is arthritis curable?

High RA and uric acid suggest possible rheumatoid or gouty arthritis. These can be managed with proper treatment. Please proceed with an X ray of the hands and tests like anti CCP antibody, anti Ds DNA, and anti Ro antibodies as advised, to help confirm the type of arthritis and guide treatment.

Take a ANTI CCP (CYCLIC CITRULLINATED PEPTIDE) Test or Take a ANTI ds-DNA - FEIA Test
