I went to the hospital, and the doctor advised a blood test, which came back negative except for a mild infection. The doctor prescribed Azithromycin 500 and flu medicine. However, I am still coughing up blood 2 to 3 times. What should I do now?

Mild blood in cough can occur from throat irritation or sinus. Since the doctor has ruled out serious infection and prescribed antibiotics, continue the course. Recheck if symptoms persist beyond a week.

I have noticed some solid lumps below my tongue. I went for blood tests for CBP and ESR, and the results are: Hemoglobin: 17.8 RBC count: 5.73 Hematocrit: 49.2 MCV: 86.0 MCH: 31.1 MCHC: 36.2 RDW: 11.3 Platelets: 2.91 TLC: 6500 ESR: 6.0 My hemoglobin, RBC, MCHC, and RDW are above the expected range.
