I have been suffering from tiredness for the last 20 days. My blood report shows T3 3.17 nmol per L, TSH 11.01 uIU per L, and T4 is normal. My weight is increasing and I feel sleepy all day. The doctor has prescribed Thyrox 25 McLeods and Amitriptyline HCl 10 mg. Is it okay to take this medicine or should I consult another specialist. Please suggest what food to eat to recover and how much time it will take to recover completely?

Thyroid is underactive hypothyroidism. Treatment is correct. Symptoms may take weeks to improve. Recheck TSH in 6 weeks.

View allHi Dr, recently I have seen high TPO antibody in my report but my TSH is normal. Please note that I have been taking Thyronorm 112.5 for the last 8 to 9 years. Is there anything to worry about. Please review my report and advise? Thank you.
