I have been on various DMARDs over the past few years. Initially, I took HCQS 400 for about one year, then Mexate 10 to 20 mg weekly for nearly another year, followed by Folitrax 20 mg weekly for one year. Currently, I am on Rumalef 10 mg daily. Could you please suggest which medicines might be best suited for me now? My recent test report shows, GMS is nil, Stc is 0, TTC is 14, PEI is 334, SGOT/SGPT is 26/34, and CRP is 503.

CRP 503 is very high, indicating active inflammation. You may need re evaluation by a rheumatologist. Biologic DMARDs (e.g. Etanercept, Adalimumab) may be considered.

I had viral fever 3 days ago. My initial blood report showed CRP level at 24 mg/L. I received a high dosage of antibiotics through IV for the last 3 days. I repeated the CRP test and it came at 25.5. I am very concerned why the CRP level is still high. Can this be a cause of something serious?
