How Are Varicoceles Treated? Most varicoceles need no special treatment. A varicocele is usually harmless and more than likely won't affect a guy's ability to father a child later in life. But if there is any pain and swelling, the doctor may prescribe an anti-inflammatory medicine to relieve it.

View allMy DPTA scan showed my right kidney is mildly enlarged and hydronephrotic but has good cortical function and passive pelvic stasis without significant obstruction. Do I need surgery for this or can it be managed without an operation?

I've been having an issue with the skin on my penis, specifically where it connects underneath it's only about 1 cm attached, and it feels too tight. Everything else seems fine, but when I'm having sex, it gets painful because the skin can't pull back all the way. I looked it up and think it might be a tight frenulum. The pictures I found online match exactly what's going on with me. Would surgery be the right fix for this?
It's possible you have a tight frenulum, also known as frenulum breve, which can cause pain during sexual activity and difficulty retracting the foreskin. While a surgical procedure, known as frenuloplasty, might be an option to lengthen the frenulum, it's best to discuss your concerns and potential treatment options with a doctor. They can properly assess your condition and determine the best course of action for you

I'm dealing with a really uncomfortable situation here. An ant bit me on the penis, and now it's all swollen. What should I do or use for this?
It seems like the swelling is due to an allergic reaction to the ant bite. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and use a mild hydrocortisone cream or an antihistamine cream like calamine lotion to soothe the area. If the swelling worsens or you experience severe discomfort, consult a doctor.
