i have brain tb and my doctor mentioned a biopsy but im not sure what that means is it just a regular test or is it some kind of surgery im a bit confused and worried about it

I've been dealing with some issues after testing positive for COVID-19 back in September. Initially, I only lost my taste and smell, and while I did test negative after two weeks, I'm still having trouble.
