I have a cylindrical power of 0.75 with a 180-degree axis in my right eye and in my left eye, it's sph 0.25 with cyl 0.75 and a 180-degree axis. My friends say wearing glasses can make my problem worse should I consider surgery for this?

My glaucoma isn't getting better with medication and I'm not sure what to do next. Between PI iridotomy and glaucoma surgery, which one has better long-term results for controlling the condition? I'm worried about making the right choice.
