I have a cylindrical power in my left eye with an axis of 180 should I be worried about this? Would I need corrective surgery or is it manageable with glasses or contacts? Just trying to understand if this could affect my vision long-term

Cylindrical power is manageable with glasses or contact lenses; surgery like LASIK is optional and based on personal need and stability.

Prior corneal infection may affect LASIK eligibility; corneal mapping (~₹1,500–₹3,000) is essential first.

I have cylindrical power of 5.00 and spherical power of 4.00 in both eyes but my right eye struggles to read even with glasses for longsightedness my cornea thickness is 520 in both eyes and I'm 18 years old am I eligible for LASIK surgery
While your eye prescription suggests a high amount of both cylindrical and spherical power, and your cornea thickness is within the acceptable range for LASIK, your right eye's difficulty with reading even with glasses could indicate other factors that might make you ineligible for LASIK. Consulting with an ophthalmologist is crucial to determine your eligibility
