I have done an annual health checkup, and my results are as follows: HbA1C 5.7 (pre diabetic), SGPT 118, SGOT 46, LDL cholesterol 107.2, and Vitamin B12 level 164.2. Can you please advise how to bring these test results into acceptable limits and what measures I should follow to control these problems?

Pre diabetes and mildly elevated liver enzymes. Adopt low carb diet, exercise daily, and recheck LFTs. Start B12 supplements (oral/injection).
Dr. Siri Suggests...
Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a Fasting & PP Blood Sugar with Smart Report Test

My 16 year old son has been suffering from high fever (104F) and headache for the past 6 days. Yesterday we consulted a doctor. His CBC and urine reports are normal. Malaria and typhoid tests are negative. Platelet count is 1.75 lakhs, SGOT is 65, and SGPT is 70. The doctor prescribed Dolo 650 (three times a day) and Mahacef Plus (twice a day). The fever temporarily decreases after Dolo but rises back to 104F after 4 hours. What could be the reason for the persistent high fever and the increased SGOT and SGPT? What should be done next?
