I have a fever that comes and goes, mostly in the evening, along with weakness. According to blood report, my SGPT level is 78. I would like to know what medicine I should take for typhoid and how to manage the elevated SGPT?

A raised SGPT indicates mild liver stress, which can happen in typhoid. Continue medicines as prescribed and rest well. If the fever continues beyond 7 days, follow up with your doctor. Continue the course of antibiotics, repeat LFT, after the prescribed course of treatment, to check if liver function has returned to normal or better

I just received my blood report, which shows SGOT/SGPT levels of 42 and 45.36. What do these values mean? I am currently in the 8th month of pregnancy and hoping for a normal delivery. She has been feeling weak recently. Today I went to the lab, and some of her test results are high. Her report shows SGOT (AST) 62 and SGPT (ALT) 53. She also says she has pain on the left side of her abdomen. What could be the reason for this problem?
