I am experiencing fatigue, low energy even after sleep, and digestive problems. I have been diagnosed with an enlarged liver and a bilirubin level of 1.2. I also have diffuse bilateral colitis. Could these symptoms be related, and what should I do to improve my energy and digestion?

Enlarged liver, colitis, and fatigue suggest ongoing digestive and liver issues. Bilirubin 1.2 is slightly high. Eat a light, low fat diet and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol and heavy meals. Do a Liver Function Test (LFT), Complete Blood Count (CBC), and Stool Routine with Culture to check liver and colitis status. Consult a gastroenterologist with these reports for further treatment.

View allI am a diabetic female for the last 20 years. Recently I did a liver function test and my report shows bilirubin total 0.62, AST 62, ALT 40 and GGTP 100. Is this alarming? How can I reduce these levels? The rest of the report is normal.

My uncle tested positive for COVID 19 eight days ago. Initially, he had a mild fever, but he recovered after taking the prescribed medications. However, during a follow up blood test yesterday, his D dimer, SGPT, and SGOT levels were elevated. The doctor prescribed blood thinning medication based on these results, but after starting the new medication, his condition seems to have worsened, his coughing has increased, and he is experiencing significant fatigue. We are unsure whether this is a side effect of the new medication or a sign of something more serious. I have attached the reports for reference.

My wife LFT report shows, ALT: 574 U/L, AST: 363 U/L and ALP: 265 U/L. She recently had food poisoning and previously had her gallbladder removed due to stones.
