I have had constant chest pain since being diagnosed with myocarditis in May 2016. My report mentions mild heart scarring and possible pericardial thickening. I would like to know if this chest pain is something I will always experience from now on?

Mild scarring may cause occasional discomfort, but persistent chest pain needs evaluation. Follow up with a cardiologist is advised.
