I have had a really bad sore throat for a month now. I have gone to urgent care twice and the results for strep tonsillitis and mono all came back negative. I was given a steroid drink at urgent care and antibiotics but it is still getting worse. Both my tonsils are swollen but one side is much worse. I also have white and yellow spots on them and it almost looks like a sore is starting to grow. The only other possible symptoms are pain in the upper left side of my stomach and really bad acid reflux.

Persistent sore throat with one sided swelling and spots may need ENT evaluation. It could be chronic tonsillitis or another infection that needs stronger or targeted treatment.

View allI am 23 years old. During a regular checkup, my blood test showed a comment of relative lymphocytosis. I had dengue about 2 months ago. Fifteen days back, I experienced continuous headache for 3 days, which then resolved. I often get numbness or cramp like sensations in both hands and sometimes feel pain in my armpits. I have not had any headaches for the past 15 days, but I am very worried about the lymphocytosis comment in my lab report. I have attached the report and would greatly appreciate your guidance.

My RBC count is very high according to my blood report, 8.5 million/cumm. I have not noticed any symptoms yet. Is this a serious problem? Does it require a bone marrow biopsy, or does it indicate low oxygen levels?
