I have headache and fever for 2 days. My test shows S. Typhi H agglutination seen in 1:80. Please explain my report?

A titre of 1:80 suggests borderline result, which may occur in past exposure or early typhoid. If symptoms persist, consider repeating the test. Do the required Widal test or blood culture.

Take a Widal Test Test or Take a Typhidot Test Test

View allMy daughter is 5 years old. Her Widal test report shows S. Typhi O 1:60 (Positive), S. Typhi H 1:80 (Positive), S. Para Typhi AH 1:20 (Negative), and S. Para Typhi BH 1:20 (Negative). Is this typhoid high, medium, or low? Are there any common medicines she should take? Should we change her food and water habits?

My Widal test report shows: S. Typhi O: 1:160 (positive) S. Typhi H: 1:80 (positive) I took medication for typhoid, but I still experienced headache, nausea, and giddiness. I consulted another doctor, who said the Widal report may not be reliable and it could just be a viral fever. Could you please clarify whether this report indicates typhoid or not?

Hi. In my Widal test report, S. typhi O is 1:320 and S. typhi H is 1:80. I started having fever on 6th November. After one week, I vomited three times a day and had loose motions, so I took two drips a day and medicines to stop the loose motions and vomiting. My blood pressure also went down to 80 by 60. Since 13th November until now, I have had loose motions and slight fever. I also experience stomach pain and bloating. I feel tired almost all day long. Is it typhoid or something else?
