I have a hiatus hernia and it's causing a lot of acidity problems and mouth ulcers. Is there any medicine that can help or is surgery the only option? It's really uncomfortable and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I've been told to take Vsl 3 and Econorm once daily for a month. Is it okay if I take them in the afternoon with a 10-minute gap between them? I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing it right!

I keep finding mucus in my stool, and it's accompanied by stomach pain and going to the bathroom about three times a day. Plus, I've had no appetite. I've already tried metronidazole for a couple of days, taking two tablets after meals, but it hasn't seemed to help, and this problem keeps coming back. What could be going on, and what should I do to treat it?
