I have a high grade sprain with a partial thickness tear in my ACL from playing cricket and I'm really not keen on surgery. The doctor recommended surgery first followed by physio but I'm wondering if ayurvedic treatment could help instead. Right now I'm doing physio exercises and my knee stability has improved a bit. Should I still consider surgery or is there a non-surgical route that could work for me?

It all depends whether you knee is stable or not. If unstable (knee wobbles in some positions) needs surgery. Otherwise no. All this other modalities of treatment are futile.

View allI had hand surgery in December 2020 but now my hand is swollen and really painful. What could be causing this and what meds should I take for the pain and swelling?
Could be infection, hardware issue, or lymphedema—see your surgeon and consider imaging and labs.

It's been three months since my ACL and MCL surgery on my right knee, but I still have a very mild limp when walking. I can flex my knee up to 120 degrees and fully extend it, though it's still a little less than my left leg since that one hyperextends. Is this slight limp normal? I can climb stairs but only one at a time.
A mild limp after ACL and MCL surgery at 3 months is common.Physiotherapy should continue and full recovery may take 6–12 months with gradual improvement.

I had surgery for a hand bone fracture between my elbow and wrist last month and now have two plates in my left hand. I've been resting for a month and started physiotherapy slowly. When can I safely return to playing cricket and are there any long-term risks I should be aware of?
After 3-4 weeks bed rest.
