I have just received my checkup report and it shows at risk prediabetes. Should I eat sweets or avoid them? I fasted for 16 hours before the checkup. I am experiencing frequent thirst and frequent urination. What should I eat and what should I avoid? Whom should I consult?

Your symptoms and report suggest early signs of prediabetes. It is best to avoid sweets, sugary drinks, and refined carbs. Focus on high fiber, low glycemic foods. Moderate exercise and weight control help prevent diabetes. Please consult an endocrinologist or diabetologist.
