I have lipomas all over my body and I'm really worried about them. Is there any non-surgical way to reduce or remove them? I don't want to go under the knife if possible but they're bothering me a lot. What are my options?

View allI'm facing a bit of a situation with a wound on my leg that's taking a while to heal, and I could really use some guidance. So my bike skidded about a month and a half ago and I ended up hitting my leg on the footpath. Most of the wound has healed, but there's this small part, about the size of a fingertip, thats still raw. It's been oozing this clear, watery liquidnot yellowwhich I think might be preventing it from healing completely. I saw Dr. Prashanth BN at Vijayshree hospital and have been keeping up with regular dressing and using Augmentin D as an antibiotic and Betadine as an ointment, even tried turmeric powder on it. Pain's gone down, but I'm out of town now and wondering what else I can do to get it to heal fully. Any advice on how to stop this liquid and get the wound completely healed?

My wife got PRP treatment a few days ago, and now her forehead's really swollen. Is this something we should be worried about? It's been three days since the procedure, and we just want to know if this kind of swelling is normal.
Can you give some details like for what was the platelet rich plasma therapy done on your wife? Swlling at the site of injection, pain, soreness etc are common and they usually subside on its own. But swelling on forehead is not a side effect.

I'm an 18-year-old guy dealing with some serious male pattern baldness. It's getting worse, and now there's this awkward bald patch on my forehead that's really noticeable in daylight. My doctor mentioned trying PRP and stem cell therapy, which sounds promising, but it's an 8-week thing and honestly, I'm thinking of just shaving my head in the meantime because the bald spot is pretty embarrassing. Do you think it's okay to shave my head before starting the PRP and stem cell treatments? Also, is it safe or effective to switch between PRP and stem cell therapies during this period?
Shaving your head before starting PRP and Stem-cell therapy is perfectly fine and will not interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment. In fact, shaving your head may even help improve the absorption of the treatment into your scalp. As for taking PRP and Stem-cell therapy alternatively, it is safe and can be effective in promoting hair growth. Just make sure to follow your doctor's recommended dosage and treatment plan for optimal results.
