I have a partial ACL tear and I'm not sure if I need surgery or just physiotherapy. Can you help me understand what's best based on my MRI report? I'm really worried about making the right choice for recovery.

For partial ACL tears, physiotherapy might suffice unless the ligament is severely torn or if you have knee instability. Discuss your MRI findings with your orthopedic surgeon to determine whether surgery or conservative treatment is best.

View allMy knee makes a clicking sound when I walk and I can't squat or sit cross-legged without really bad pain. What could be causing this and what treatments or meds might help? Should I consider surgery if it doesn't get better?
Knee clicking and pain when squatting or sitting cross-legged could be due to several issues, including meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, or patellofemoral syndrome. Treatment may involve physical therapy, pain relievers, or, in some cases, surgery. If pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by swelling or instability, it's crucial to consult with a doctor or orthopedic specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment

I had an arm wrestling match at the hostel and completely broke my humerus, right above the elbow and below the shoulder. They did an operation two days later and used something called an extra-articular plate. How long is it going to take for this to heal fully? And when will I be able to hit the gym again? I'm really curious and a bit worried about my recovery timeline.

When should I worry about upper back pain?
If pain develops suddenly and is severe, such as from an injury ( fall) and if pain and symptoms (eg, weakness) progressively worsen you should seek medical attention.
