I have a scar on my cornea from a deep abrasion, right in front of the pupil area, but my vision is at 69. I've been using Flarex and Vel eye drops for two months will this heal completely or is PTK surgery needed? The doctor said it might be from a childhood injury, but I'm worried about how long recovery will take or if the scar will affect my vision permanently.

I've been looking into LASIK surgery options lately and stumbled across keratoconus. I'm 22 and have had pretty stable glasses prescription for the last 3 years with no major vision issues, but my astigmatism is pretty high (sph 6, cyl 2.75).
