My 13-month-old baby has had watery discharge from the left eye since birth. We've been doing the recommended eye massages regularly but the tearing hasn't stopped. Should we keep trying with massages or is it time to consider surgery for this issue?

My son just had cataract surgery and the doctor prescribed steroid and antibiotic eye drops along with homide eye drops what exactly does the homide drop do for his recovery?
The Homide eye drops, containing homatropine, are used in cataract surgery to dilate the pupil and reduce muscle spasms. This helps the ophthalmologist visualize the eye better during surgery and also helps to relax the eye muscles. Homatropine is a muscarinic antagonist, which means it blocks the effects of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that controls eye muscle movement
