I have skipped my periods this month and I am sexually active. There was a day when I saw some blood and after that there has been no sign, and I have not got my period. I did a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. There was a time when I had unprotected sex but I took a pill immediately the next day. Why is this happening? Is it normal?

Emergency contraceptive pills can delay or disrupt your period for that cycle. Light bleeding or spotting after the pill is common and usually not a full period. A negative urine pregnancy test after 21 days from sex is reliable. Your hormones may take 2 to 4 weeks to settle post pill.

View allHi, last month on the last day of my period, I had sex, and the condom broke, so he cum inside me. I took an IPill within 12 hours, but after a week, some brown bleeding occurred which continued for four days. My menstrual cycle is 28 days. I am now three days late for my period and did a home pregnancy test, which was negative. Should I be worried?

Hi, I am 22 years old and unmarried. I had unprotected anal sex once and took Unwanted 72. That month, I had spotting first and then got my period. The next month, I had protected intercourse using a condom, and the next day I got my period. Now, I have not gotten my period. I had very light dark brown spotting. Is there any risk of pregnancy? I took a pregnancy test 15 days ago, and it was negative.

It has been 33 days since my last period, and I am taking medication for thyroid and depression. I have noticed that my breasts have become very soft from the tip of the areola upwards, without any soreness. I am also experiencing tightness and discomfort in the lower abdomen, and my vaginal opening feels sticky, with egg white like discharge instead of menstrual bleeding. I am concerned and would like to know what could be causing these changes and what steps I should take next.
