I have some bowel problems. My stool test report shows fecal calprotectin greater than 800. Is this serious, and what does it indicate?

A calprotectin level greater than 800 strongly suggests active inflammation in the gut, possibly IBD (e.g., Crohns or ulcerative colitis). Its not an emergency, but you should consult a gastroenterologist soon for colonoscopy and further evaluation.
