I have varicose veins on my left leg is there a way to treat them without surgery and how long would non-surgical treatment take to show results

My mom was diagnosed with varicose veins and allopathy suggested surgery while homeopathy gave her medicines that replaced her entire diet but made her restless and constipated Now we're considering acupuncture does it actually help with varicose veins or is it just another temporary fix
