I have vision problems and I'm considering eye surgery but I'm not sure where to start. What type of surgery would be best for me LASIK or something else? Also, can you recommend a good hospital or clinic for the procedure? I'm a bit nervous and would really appreciate some guidance

While LASIK is the most common surgery for refractive errors, there are other procedures that have similar procedures or goals. Refractive laser surgery options include: LASIK. The surgeon uses a laser or blade to create a flap in the outer layers of the cornea.

My myopia is at -7 and keeps getting worse, plus I'm seeing these floaters everywhere. Should I be worried about this? Do I need surgery or is there another way to manage it?
Should you worry about flashes and floaters? Both are very common, especially in older people, and more often than not they are nothing to worry about. If they are bothersome, dark glasses have been found to minimise the presence of floaters and you can discuss options with your optometrist.

I have thin corneas and can't get LASIK, so my doctor recommended SMILE but I've heard it has some drawbacks. Now I'm seeing Contoura Vision might be better what's the best option for someone with thin corneas like me?
Contoura Vision needs sufficient corneal thickness; SMILE is preferred in thinner corneas—choose based on topography and surgeon’s advice.
