I just got my MRI report and it shows a high grade partial thickness tear in my ACL with some retraction and a small bony avulsion near the tibial eminence. There's also mention of a chip fracture in the posterior tibial plateau with bone marrow edema. Can this heal on its own or will I need surgery? I'm really worried about the extent of the damage and what it means for recovery

View allI've been told I have a medial meniscus tear in my left knee and surgery was recommended. Is there any way to avoid surgery, and what other treatment options could I try?
MCL tears heal without surgery. conservative treatment.surgical intervention is required only for grade 3 tear only.Suturing the torn MCL fibers to secure the ligament to bone .Also ortho opinion is advised to the patient.

My doctor says I need surgery for a medial malleolus fracture but I heard it can heal without it. Is surgery always necessary or are there cases where it can heal on its own? What factors decide whether to go for surgery or not?
Surgery depends on displacement, stability, and patient activity; conservative treatment works for non-displaced fractures.

I've been dealing with a D12 compression fracture from an accident, and at first, the pain disappeared after about three months. But after a recent flight, I noticed some discomfort when the plane was landing. Now it's spreading to a few spots along with the original D12 area. Should I be thinking about going for another MRI or just stick to medication for now?
if the fracture is healed there will not be such problems in flight journey, it may be due back muscles strain because of long term sitting in upright posture, take hot or cold pack, if doesn't subside consult orthopedic surgeon
