I've been dealing with a D12 compression fracture from an accident, and at first, the pain disappeared after about three months. But after a recent flight, I noticed some discomfort when the plane was landing. Now it's spreading to a few spots along with the original D12 area. Should I be thinking about going for another MRI or just stick to medication for now?

if the fracture is healed there will not be such problems in flight journey, it may be due back muscles strain because of long term sitting in upright posture, take hot or cold pack, if doesn't subside consult orthopedic surgeon

My mom is 63 and has been having knee pain lately. She's using Himalaya joint pain oil which helps a bit but she's scared to see a doctor in case they recommend surgery. Should we keep using the oil or is it better to get her checked out?

It's important for your mother to see a doctor about her knee pain, even if it's just for a bit of relief with the Himalaya oil. While the oil may offer temporary relief, it's not a long-term solution and a doctor can help determine the cause and recommend the best course of treatment, which may not always involve surgery.

My left collar bone sticks out way more than the right one, and my shoulders look uneven with the left one sitting higher. From the back, my posture seems tilted to the right, and I get pain on the right side of my back when I stand for too long. Can this be fixed with surgery or exercises to make my posture symmetrical? Are there any long-term side effects if I don't get it treated?

Postural asymmetry may improve with physiotherapy, core strengthening, and ergonomic correction. Surgery is considered only in severe structural deformities.

I've had low back pain for 8 months and an MRI showed a disc bulge, but the doctors haven't explained what caused it. Painkillers don't help, and I can't sit or work for more than an hour without pain. Even lifting slightly heavy things is tough. Do I really need surgery for this? I'm worried about steroid injections because of side effects like weight gain what else can I do to get back to normal life?

Surgery is not always needed; structured physiotherapy and core strengthening can help avoid injections and regain function.
