I just got my MRI report showing lumbar spondylosis with an angular tear and disk protrusions at L3-L4, L4-L5, and L5-S1 levels. It's causing spinal canal narrowing, stenosis, and severe compression on the nerve roots with impingement at L4-L5. The doctor is recommending surgery, but I'm only 25 and unmarried is surgery really necessary at this stage? Are there other treatment options I can try first?

View allI've been diagnosed with L4-L5 bulging and a minor S1 fracture, and they're saying it's spondylitis and recommending surgery. How serious is this? Should I be worried about long-term effects if I don't get the surgery? Are there other treatment options I could try first?
Spondylitis with L4-L5 bulging disc and S1 fracture may require surgery if conservative treatments (like physical therapy, medications, or spinal injections) fail. Surgery may help reduce long-term complications, but you should explore non-surgical options first.

I have a bulging disc in my spine and my doctor recommended surgery but I'm not sure if it's safe or necessary if physio doesn't work what are the risks and side effects of spinal surgery
Surgery is advised if conservative physio fails or neurological signs worsen; risks include infection, nerve injury, or non-improvement.

I have a meningioma brain tumor and my doctor recommended surgery what's the best treatment plan for this? I want to make sure I get the most effective care possible
Radiation therapy is also useful in treating some benign tumors, including benign meningiomas. Radiation therapy is the first-line treatment for meningiomas that can't be fully removed or when the risk of surgery outweighs the potential benefit.
