I need to get surgery to correct my vision but my cornea is thin and my power is 7.00 so LASIK isn't an option. My doctor recommended SMILE but I've read about some drawbacks. I also came across Contoura Vision which seems better. With a thin cornea, which one should I go for? I don't want ICL.

With thin cornea, SMILE is safer than LASIK but less accurate for high power—Contoura needs more thickness; ICL is most precise but invasive.

View alli had a corneal infection a while back and now i'm considering lasik surgery but i'm not sure if that makes me ineligible can you explain who typically can't get lasik and also what's the cost for a cornea mapping test
Prior corneal infection may affect LASIK eligibility; corneal mapping (~₹1,500–₹3,000) is essential first.
