I need to have a double check on a blood test CBC. My baby is 10 months old. The platelet count is 800,000. Earlier a UTI was diagnosed and the baby was on antibiotics.

A platelet count of 8 lakhs is high (normal: 1.5 to 4.5 lakh). Can happen post infection (UTI), inflammation, or rarely due to bone marrow changes. Monitor count again after 2 to 3 weeks.
