I noticed blood in my vomit again yesterday, and it's really got me worried. I work night shifts and tend to smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol almost every day. This last time it happened early in the morning after a night shift party. Could my lifestyle be the reason behind this? What should I do about it?

View allI've been diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia and lax LES through endoscopy, and my symptoms include GERD, throat and heartburn, mouth ulcers, and upper abdomen burning. I've tried so many PPI meds but they make me tired, and if I skip them even for two days, the burning, sour burps, and sleepless nights get unbearable. My doctor says the main issue is my lax LES and that I'll need lifelong meds or surgery, but I'm exhausted from taking PPIs for two years and surgery success rates don't seem great. I'm feeling hopeless sometimes the acid attacks and pain are so bad I can't cope. Can homeopathy actually help fix a lax LES or make GERD go away? I already eat clean homemade food with coriander and cumin, no spicy or oily stuff, plus fruits and curd and do yoga daily, but nothing's working. I don't want false hope just honest advice on whether this can improve.
While homeopathy may offer some symptomatic relief for GERD and related issues, it's unlikely to cure a lax LES or hiatal hernia. Homeopathy is a holistic approach that focuses on individual symptoms and constitution, but it lacks robust scientific evidence for treating structural issues like a lax LES.

I've been dealing with ongoing diarrhea for the past couple of weeks. It's strange because I'm not getting dehydrated or feeling tired, but when the abdominal pain hits, I have to rush to the restroom. I've noticed that sometimes the stools are loose, but not always; they're mostly normal. I've tried taking Lomofen tablets, but they don't seem to make a difference. Could you help me understand what's going on?

I'm really puzzled right now. I recently finished a course of Flagyl for what my gi doctor suspected was giardia since I was having diarrhea, stomach pains, and nausea. So today, I had a plain hamburger with some ketchup and cheetos, and my diarrhea came back for about 2 hours. I'm trying to figure out why this happened. Could it be something about the food I ate, or is there another issue I might be dealing with?
The return of diarrhea after eating could be related to the foods you ate or your bodys ongoing recovery from the giardiasis infection. Monitor your symptoms and adjust your diet accordingly. If symptoms dont improve or if they worsen, consider following up with your doctor to rule out any underlying issues or complications.
