I recently did an NS1 dengue test, which came out negative. Unsatisfied with the result, I repeated the test at a different clinic, and it showed a Dengue NS1 Antigen ratio of 3.5. All other parameters, such as platelet count and blood pressure, are normal. Can someone explain what this result means in detail, and what steps I should take next?

NS1 ratio 3.5 is positive for dengue. Early negatives are common. Rest, hydrate, and monitor fever. Track platelets daily.

View allI have been experiencing fever for the past 3 days, along with muscle and back pain, cold, and headache. On the first day, an MBBS doctor prescribed Cefixime and Cetrizine + Phenylephrine. On the third day, I had a lab test, which showed: RBC, PCV, and platelet counts slightly below normal No parasites detected Could you please advise what these results indicate and if any further treatment or investigations are needed?

Hi, my platelet count is 85,000. Does this indicate dengue, or could it be a normal viral fever? I have attached my blood test report for reference.
