For fever with vomiting where dengue is suspected, you should get a Dengue NS1 Antigen test, which helps detect dengue in the early stages, along with a CBC test to monitor platelet counts. These tests are not available as home kits but can be done easily at nearby labs with home sample collection. If your child develops severe vomiting, drowsiness, bleeding, or worsening weakness, visit the hospital immediately for treatment. Book Dengue NS1 Antigen and CBC tests as your next step for diagnosis.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Dengue NS1 Antigen - Elisa Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

Hi, my platelet count is 85,000. Does this indicate dengue, or could it be a normal viral fever? I have attached my blood test report for reference.

Is it normal to platelet count 398000 after a dengue infection?
