I recently did a serum beta hCG test and want to understand the result. I think the test indicates a negative pregnancy result, but if I am not pregnant, what could be the reason for my missed period? My periods are usually regular, and this is the first time I have missed one.

If your Serum Beta hCG test is negative, pregnancy is ruled out as the cause of your missed period. First time delayed periods can happen due to stress, recent illness, weight changes, or hormonal fluctuations. Maintain hydration, healthy diet, and manage stress. If your periods do not start in 2 weeks or irregularity continues, consult your doctor. You can book a Thyroid Profile and Prolactin test to check hormonal reasons for missed periods if delay persists.

View allI am unmarried and have been experiencing irregular periods due to thyroid issues. My gynecologist prescribed Yasmin tablets for 21 days, starting from the 5th day of my period. I have completed the 21 day course today. Could you please advise when I can expect my next menstrual cycle?

I missed my period 14 days ago. I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. I have white discharge with no itching or irritation?

It has been 15 days past my expected period, but I still have not gotten it. I had sex on June 26, and my period started on June 29. Since then, I have not had my period. I have taken a pregnancy test three times, and all were negative. I am not sure what is happening. Please advise what I should do.
