I recently got my hands waxed, and ever since, I've developed some major skin issues. My hands are now covered with pimples and rashes, and the beautician mentioned it could be a bacterial allergy. It's super itchy and painful with these red bumps ranging from tiny to quite big all over my hands. I'm really worried about it. What could be causing this, and what should I do to make it better?

It sounds like you may be experiencing an allergic reaction or contact dermatitis from the waxing procedure. To help with the itching, pain, and inflammation, you can try using an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to reduce the inflammation and itching. Additionally, you can take an oral antihistamine such as cetirizine to help with the itching. To prevent any bacterial infection, you can apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on the affected area. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry to prevent further irritation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.

View allI'm noticing this ring-like red spot on my face and it sort of reminds me of ringworm. I've started using Lobate GM cream for it. Is this the right treatment to go for, or should I be doing something different? Im a bit worried about whether I'm using the right stuff for this.
A ring red spot or rash on your face resembling ringworm may require antifungal treatment. However, Lobate GM is not appropriate for ringworm as it contains a combination of a steroid (betamethasone) and two other ingredients. Instead, you should use an antifungal cream like Terbinafine (brand name Lamisil) or Clotrimazole (brand name Lotrimin). Apply the antifungal cream twice daily on the affected area for at least 2 weeks. If the rash persists or worsens, consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.

I'm looking for advice on a safe cream to help with acne and the blemishes they leave behind. Lately, it's been getting pretty bad, especially on my forehead. It's really affected the appearance of my face. Any recommendations for a good product to clear up these acne issues and the spots they create?

I'm dealing with a skin infection and a bit of an allergy, and I'm wondering if Sporidex and Phexin are basically the same thing? Can I use them interchangeably for my treatment, or should I stick to one? I'm just a bit confused about how they work and if there's any difference between them.
poridex (Cephalexin) and Phexin (Cephalexin) are essentially the same antibiotic medication, being different brand names for the same active ingredien
