I recently had a thyroid function test (T3, T4, and TSH) done, but I am not sure how to interpret the results. My report shows T3: 0.52 ng/mL, T4: 4.70 microgram/dL, and TSH: 2.36 microIU/mL. Could you please tell me if these results indicate a thyroid problem or if they are within the normal range?

TSH is normal. T3 is mildly low, T4 slightly low. It may suggest early or subclinical hypothyroidism. Repeat after 3 to 6 weeks.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test
