I recently received my blood test report, which shows elevated liver enzymes, SGPT is 91.0 U/L and SGOT is 51.0 U/L. I would like to know what could be causing this, whether it is risky for my health, and how I can reduce these levels safely. Please suggest what steps I should take.

These levels indicate mild liver inflammation. Causes may include fatty liver, medications, or infections. Avoid alcohol and fatty foods. Increase water intake and consult a doctor for liver health guidance. Usg Abdomen, LFT and Hepatitis Panel is advised.

I am Nikhil, 26 years old. Three months ago, I had jaundice with SGPT 235 and SGOT 91, which returned to normal within 10 days. Now, I have jaundice again with SGPT 150 and SGOT 90, even though I have been following a proper diet. I have done tests for HBsAg, Anti HCV, and Anti HBc total, and all are normal. My ESR is 18. I am concerned about the repeated rise in liver enzymes. What could be the reason, and is this dangerous?

I got my report today, and my SGPT is 185 while my SGOT is also high at 70. What does this mean. Is it harmful to my liver or does it indicate any problem.
