I recently reviewed my blood tests and found the following issues dyslipidemia, elevated liver enzymes, grade 2 fatty liver on USG, and high uric acid. After one month of medication, my follow up report shows total cholesterol at 97, liver enzymes mostly normal (ALT slightly high but lower than before). However, I am experiencing significant weight loss and muscle loss, my current weight is 65 kg, down from 73 kg two months ago. My doctor has diagnosed these as post COVID effects, although I was asymptomatic and unaware of when I was infected.

I recently received my liver function test results, which show that AST/SGOT is 44 and ALT/SGPT is 84, both slightly above the normal range. I had my gall bladder removed 6 weeks ago laparoscopically. I am taking a low fat diet and have had no problems till now. My report shows fatty changes in my liver and it is enlarged to 16.4 cm. My surgeon did not mention anything about it. I want to know the extent of this problem and whether it is worrisome. I want to know how to take care of my liver to reverse fatty changes, including foods to eat or avoid. Should I take any liver tonic? If yes, please recommend some. My 16 year old son has been suffering from high fever (104F) and headache for the past 6 days. Yesterday we consulted a doctor. His CBC and urine reports are normal.
