If your last period was on January 30th, you generally have until approximately 11 weeks from that date to consider medication abortion (abortion pills). Surgical abortion options, like suction aspiration, are usually available up to 13 weeks. Some clinics may extend the timeframe for medication abortion beyond 11 weeks, depending on their policies

I'm looking at my 7th-month growth scan report and it mentions the placenta being on the posterior and right lateral wall with grade II maturity. What does that mean exactly? Should I be worried or take any special precautions because of this?

I've noticed a white lump between my anus and vagina. It's not painful, but it's kind of hard and seems like it has a little opening on it. Could you help me understand what this might be and if it's something I should be worried about?

You may have a Bartholin's cyst. I recommend using sitz baths to help reduce the discomfort and swelling. You can also use over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen. If the cyst becomes infected, antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin may be prescribed. If the cyst is large or causing significant symptoms, surgical drainage or removal may be necessary.

I just had my TIFFA scan at 21 weeks, and it showed that my cervix length is 2.9 cm. Is this normal? My doctor mentioned it's on the shorter side. Should I be concerned? Can I still do exercises, or is there something else I should be doing?

A cervix length of 2.9 cm at 21 weeks is considered short, increasing the risk of preterm labor; your doctor may recommend cervical cerclage, progesterone supplements, or pelvic rest; exercises like Kegel's and pelvic tilts may be beneficial, but consult your doctor before starting any new exercises or treatments.
