I started my period in 2013. Since then, I have been experiencing irregular periods with gaps of 2 to 3 months. Recently, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). My blood report shows that my FSH level is 42.82, which my doctor says is quite high. Could you please explain more about this condition?

PCOD often causes irregular periods and high FSH or LH levels. Symptoms may include acne, hair thinning, weight gain, and fertility issues. Lifestyle changes, weight control, and hormone balancing meds can help. Do not worry many women manage PCOD successfully.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a FSH and LH Test Test or Take a AMH Test (Anti Mullerian Hormone) Test
