I tested COVID 19 positive and completed all prescribed medications while staying in home quarantine. For the last 7 to 8 days, I have been experiencing severe fatigue and a mild fever (99 to 100F). Yesterday, I tested positive for Typhoid. I am unsure if this is a lingering effect of COVID 19 or a true Typhoid infection. My Typhoid test results are: AH: 1:80 BH: 1:80 TH: 1:160 TO: 1:320 Should I start antibiotics for Typhoid? Do I need any further tests to confirm the infection?

Typhoid test (Widal) is positive. Post COVID fatigue is common, but typhoid should be treated if confirmed. Take antibiotics as prescribed and rest well. Consider repeating Widal or blood culture if doubt persists.

My Widal test report from two weeks ago shows S. Typhi O at 1:160 and S. Typhi H at 1:320. I am a 34 year old male and would like to know if this indicates typhoid. If yes, please suggest the appropriate diet and medications. Additionally, a few bacteria were found in my urine, and some white fat was observed in the blood sample during the test.

Hello doctor, I am currently undergoing treatment for pleural tuberculosis and have completed 2 months of therapy. I still have a mild fever of 99 to 99.5. My doctor told me to go for a Widal test and after the test he prescribed me cefixime and ofloxacin tablet. Doctor, I am attaching my Widal test report. Can you look at it? Thank you in advance.
