I took a thyroid test due to hair loss. My blood report shows normal T3 (73 ng) and T4 (9 microgram) levels, but TSH is slightly elevated at 7.46 microIU. Is this normal? Could this be the cause of my hair loss? Do I need any medication to control the TSH level? Please suggest.

Mildly high TSH suggests subclinical hypothyroidism, which may contribute to hair loss. Consult an endocrinologist for levothyroxine trial, especially if symptoms persist. Retest TSH in 6 to 8 weeks.

My report suggests thyronormalcy, but I am experiencing some symptoms that concern me. Could you please advise if these symptoms are related to thyroid issues and what steps I should take next?
