I tried using Salactin paint on my ankle to get rid of some hard skin, but after just a day, the skin turned black and red. It looks like it might be burnt. What should I do to treat this and help it heal?

Salactin paint contains salicylic acid, which can help soften and remove hard skin. However, it can also cause irritation, especially if used incorrectly or on sensitive skin.
The black and red discoloration you've described suggests a chemical burn or severe irritation. To promote healing and reduce discomfort, follow these steps:
Immediate Care
- Stop using Salactin paint: Discontinue use immediately to prevent further irritation.
- Wash the area: Gently wash the affected area with mild soap and lukewarm water to remove any remaining salicylic acid.
- Apply a topical cream: Use a topical cream or gel containing aloe vera, hydrocortisone (1%), or calamine to help soothe and calm the skin.

I was prescribed tacroz 0.1 tacrolimus for my psoriasis, but it's really pricey at 671rs for just 20g. I came across a couple of cheaper alternatives online, crolimate ointment and tacoseal 0.1. Can I use one of these, or is there another low-cost option you can suggest? I have psoriasis over most of my skin, and the expensive medicine is hard to keep up with. Any advice?
Both Crolimate and Tacoseal could be suitable alternatives to Tacroz since they contain the same active ingredient. However, its important to check with your doctor before switching to make sure these alternatives are effective and safe for your condition. In the meantime, other treatments like topical steroids, coal tar, or calcipotriene might also be good options if you're looking for more affordable choices. Your doctor will help guide you on the best path forward based on the severity and extent of your psoriasis.

I've been dealing with mouth ulcers for a week now and they just won't go away. Do you know what kind of medicine I can take to help with this? It's pretty uncomfortable and I'm really looking for some relief. Any advice would be really appreciated.
-For mouth ulcers, you can take a vitamin B complex tablet like *Becosules* once daily, along with an oral gel like *Kenacort* or *Dologel* applied directly to the ulcers 2-3 times a day. Stay hydrated and avoid spicy or acidic foods. If it persists, cons
