I underwent laparoscopy for bilateral complex chocolate cysts six months ago. My recent report shows a 32 mm hemorrhagic cyst in my left ovary, and only residual tissue is seen in the right ovary on sonography. Can this cyst resolve on its own? Is it possible for my ovary to regenerate from the residual tissue? Can I still get pregnant with this condition if my uterus is healthy?

A 32mm hemorrhagic cyst may resolve on its own. Residual ovarian tissue can still function and sometimes regenerate. Since you have a healthy uterus, pregnancy is possible if ovulation resumes. Regular follow up with ultrasounds and hormonal tests will help track recovery. Fertility assistance may be needed if conception delays.
