I underwent laparoscopy for bilateral complex chocolate cysts six months ago. My recent report shows a 32 mm hemorrhagic cyst in my left ovary, and only residual tissue is seen in the right ovary on sonography. Can this cyst resolve on its own? Is it possible for my ovary to regenerate from the residual tissue? Can I still get pregnant with this condition if my uterus is healthy?

A 32mm hemorrhagic cyst may resolve on its own. Residual ovarian tissue can still function and sometimes regenerate. Since you have a healthy uterus, pregnancy is possible if ovulation resumes. Regular follow up with ultrasounds and hormonal tests will help track recovery. Fertility assistance may be needed if conception delays.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a AMH Test (Anti Mullerian Hormone) Test or Take a FSH and LH Test Test

View allHi, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past two months. I am 29 years old and have irregular menstrual cycles ranging from 29 to 37 days. I have been using OPK kits to track ovulation and get positive results each month, but I have not conceived yet. My blood reports from last year were normal. Should I start taking prenatal supplements, and would that help improve my chances of conception?

My wife has PCOS. After treatment with IUI, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy were done. After this, we tried IUI twice but it was not successful. Her reports are normal. The doctor says that after laparoscopy, pregnancy is possible, but it has not happened yet. During her periods, bleeding is very light, only 1 to 3 drops. We do not have enough money for IVF. Please suggest what we can do?

My recent report shows that my right ovary is polycystic with 10 to 12 follicles, while the left ovary is normal. My weight has been steadily increasing over the past 7 to 8 years, although I have regular menstrual cycles. I am now trying to conceive but I am unsure about what steps to take next. Will I be able to conceive naturally, and what should I do moving forward?
