I was on beta blocker Inderal 10 for about two years, stopping last October. Is it okay for me to do regular exercise or hit the gym now?

I've been smoking for the past four years and drink daily. Seven months ago, I had a stress echo, and it came back normal, even though my lipid levels, Lp(a), and triglycerides were high.
