I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem before my pregnancy. I was on medication throughout that period, taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg. Post-delivery, my blood report showed that my TSH was normal, so I stopped the medicine. Now I checked again, and it shows that my TSH is 6.34. Please advise whether I should continue the same medicine at the same dosage?

TSH is slightly high. Thyroid may worsen post pregnancy. Restart Thyronorm after doctor consult. Monitor levels.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test

View allWhy are both my TSH and T4 levels high? I understand that a high TSH usually means hypothyroidism, so why is my T4 also high? Is this a serious problem? I am really worried. Please check my report and help me understand.
