I was eating and accidentally swallowed a small piece of mutton bone; now it feels like it's stuck near my throat. What should I do to get it out? Please advise.

I would recommend not try to remove by yourself..it may worse the situation.. visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment and removal of the impacted bone ...

View allI've been dealing with a swollen left lingual tonsil for about a month now. Initially, it wasn't painful, but now I'm feeling some discomfort when I swallow and I have ear pain too. There are also these white spots on it. I'm a pretty heavy smoker. What could this mean and what should I do?

I've been dealing with this feeling like there's mucus stuck in my throat for the last 34 years and it's really frustrating because it happens even in the summer. I tried gargling but that didn't help at all. A few months back I saw an ENT specialist in Ghaziabad, and he said nothing was stuck in my throat. What should I do next?
You can try using an expectorant like Mucinex (guaifenesin) to help thin and loosen the mucus. You can take Mucinex 600mg extended-release tablets once daily with plenty of water. Additionally, you can try using a nasal spray like Flonase (fluticasone) to reduce any post-nasal drip contributing to the sensation. Use Flonase 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. If the issue persists, you may consider a referral to a gastroenterologist for further evaluation of acid reflux as a possible cause of your symptoms.

I've been taking Vertin 16 mg for the past four months for Meniere's disease and it's been helping me feel better. But now I'm starting to wonder if there could be any long-term effects or harm from using it for so long. Could it be causing any issues I should be worried about?
Yes you can take it no problem.
